Dumbest things said by beauty queens
Dumbest things said by beauty queens.
Lauren Ashley - Miss Beverly Hills
The self-proclaimed Miss Beverly Hills 2010, Lauren Ashley, recently made headlines with her strong (and dumb) views on homosexuality. But as we know, she's not the first beauty queen to say dumb things. At this point, "Say Something Dumb" should actually be a part of the pageant. Right between talent and evening wear. These gals would obviously score very high.

Daniel Radcliffe cancels Broadway performance after stagehand death
Daniel Radcliffe cancels Broadway performance after stagehand death. he Wednesday night performance of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" was called off after a stagehand died shortly before the curtain was supposed to go up.
The musical, which stars John Larroquette and Daniel Radcliffe, was to have staged its 100th performance. New York City Police said the stagehand, 29, went into cardiac arrest shortly before 6 p.m. He was transferred to St. Luke's Hospital where he later died.
A police spokesman said there was "no apparent criminality" involved in the death, but an investigation was underway.
Michael Hartman, a spokesman for the show, emphasized that the death was "not caused by an accident related to the production."
The show's spokesman and the police both said the stagehand's name was being withheld pending family notification. Audience member Elizabeth Walkling told CNN there was a clear "commotion" at the show's scheduled start time. After about half an hour of uncertainty, "they said there's been an incident, the show should be starting in 10 to 15 minutes."

Cheap Summer Holiday Tips 2011
Cheap Summer Holiday Tips 2011. Top Five Tips for Getting a Cheap Holiday in 2011.
With all this talk about deepening recessions and higher air travel costs, it's gonna be harder than ever to get away next summer. I was even thinking about staying at home next year, but judging by the prices here, my only option is to implement some of my tried and trusted methods to bag me a nice tan. In the past I have been guilty of going the orthodox route and lining the pockets of the Thomas Cooks and Thompsons of this world. That was until I discovered a couple of pretty rudimentary ways of cutting the costs drastically. I mean, everything is in our favour these days. We can research airfares, hotels, destinations you name it. There is no reason to pay top whack for anything. Last year for instance my girlfriend and I managed two weeks in a tidy little hotel with a nice pool and great facilities for about £275 each with air fares and that was in July when all the package brigade were probably paying three times as much. OK enough prevaricating let's get down brass tacks:
